What·s a Kinetic Orbital Array?

A Kinetic Orbital Array (KOA) is an orbital satellite that carries Orbit-to-Surface weapons . These weapons consist of giant tungsten cylinders that heat up to devastating temperatures in re-entry , causing a detonation upon impact . KOAs are particularly useful for hitting targets buried deep underground , such as the Russian deep state hives or The Autonomous Furnace beneath the Burj Dubei .

One telephone-sized rod of tungsten weighs 24,000lbs .
The cost of tungsten is $3.25/lb USD .
One KOA ballistic would cost about $78,000 USD
or about 3.379549 Bitcoin .

Today it costs $10,000/lb to put payload in Terran orbit . NASA's goal is to reduce the cost of getting to space to $300/lb within 25 years and $30/lb within 40 years .

International Space Weapons Treaties specifically prohibit nuclear weapons . KOAs use pure mechanical force in Orbital Velocity times Reentry Air Friction . A KOA strikes with about 11.5 tons of TNT equivalent , or about 1% of a tactical nuclear weapon , and can carry up to 9 rods per payload , for a total strike force of about 10% of that of a tactical nuke . It can launch all nine rods at once to eliminate a small city , or it can launch them one after another to hit targets buried deeply underground .

The Burj Dubai is located at 25.1972° N, 55.2744° E , which is in Saudi Arabia , a flat, desert country that would probably require AI trajectory control because of the wind . They have extremely advanced AI counter-hacking capabilities , so that would have to be factored in before launch .
