A Consciousness Polyplexer is a MEG (magnetoencephalogram) that fits snugly over the skull , that is hooked up to a machine that is itself hooked up to a bunch of different means of exploiting psychic potential . Depending on the make (German, American, Russian, Chinese, Saudi, Indian, and so on) , this could range anything from specially-grown neural gel in little packets to , uh , "vived" humans in suitcases , to , UH , live humans as they are having their most painful nightmares inflicted on them .

The MEG picks up the psionic impressions of the wearer and pipes it to a supercomputer , which searches every database from classified government records to MidJourney·s sample set for anything that lines up to it in any way . Pictoral, vocal, in text or in audio, all the way up to what the end product will look like to yr mama·s gaping TV eyes .

Once a sufficient sample set has been collected (60 seconds or less) , it then starts juicing the hardware , gulag slaves with VR strobes strapped to their heads, bone shards in cells, or even full-on TheInstitute-style deep hives full of enlightened human clones .
