Residual Self Image

The concept of Residual Self Image (RSI) was popularized in the 1999 film The Matrix . The concept is that , when technologies are used that control or overdrive people , that those people physically and aurically resemble the people overdriving .

There is a very long list of photographic evidence , and the concept was pictorally represented in the 2003 Magic the Gathering set Shadowmoor . Nuns have been acutely aware of its sudden prevalence since the towerfall of 9/11 , and have been actively seeking its source . We now know of multiple ways that these effects can be achieved .
