Sister Skaði Wrenwinter - Aaru
(Right click to open in new tab .)
In Ancient Kemetic/Egyptian mythology , Aaru was the name given to the paradise portion of the afterlife known as the Duat .
Comparable with Catholic Heaven or Muslem Jannah , Aaru, the Field of Reeds was considered to be a sunrise realm of the afterlife , a balmy wetland where honorable fish and game are plenty , and the warm wind sussurusing thru the many reeds was a treat reserved for Pharaohs alone .
It has been 3500 years since Hatchepsut first upset the all-male aristocracy of the Pharaohs , shortly before The LORD led Moishe and his people out of Egypt and out of the hands of the Pharaohs .
Four thousand years and we are still in the same fights against the same ancient enemies . Hence Sister Skaði and her Skaðisdottirs has captured this outpost on its long-forgotten river-banks .
